American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring at least 2 years of in-hospital endoscopy experience, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Located on the 3rd floor of a hospital setting, within the Endoscopy unit
-
Unit includes a 9-bay Pre-Op area, 4 procedure rooms, and a 6-bay PACU
-
Typical procedures include EBUS, bronchoscopy, ION, EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP
-
Equipment includes Olympus scopes and processors, ION, Olympus ultrasound machine, and ERBE
-
EMR systems used: Cerner and Provation
-
Shift hours are 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-
Patient ratios are variable depending on daily volume
-
On-call requirement: 2 weekend 24-hour call shifts per 6-week period, plus 1 night per week of call

Floating may be required to Main PACU, Phase II, Pre-Op, or OR (if prior OR experience)

13-week contract

Active NC or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment)

Minimum 2 years of in-hospital endoscopy experience required

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Pulmonary procedural experience (e.g., bronchoscopy, EBUS) is preferred
-
Ideal candidates are flexible and self-motivated; block scheduling to accommodate extended travel home is not accommodated

Surgical scrubs are provided

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
