The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall
success of the restaurant by leading all operations, developing high-performing
teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and achieving financial goals.
The General Manager is accountable for sales growth, profitability, staffing,
food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and ensuring every aspect of the
restaurant reflects Busy Boys brand standards.

Provide overall leadership for all restaurant operations and team members.

Build, develop, and maintain a high-performing management team and crew.

Hire, onboard, train, coach, evaluate, and develop employees at all levels.

Ensure every guest receives outstanding hospitality and an exceptional dining experience.

Drive restaurant sales and profitability through operational excellence.

Manage labor, food cost, controllable expenses and overall financial performance.

Ensure compliance with all Busy Boys recipes portion standards, and operating procedures.

Maintain the highest standards of food safety sanitation, and cleanliness.

Create employee schedules that balance guest service with labor goals.

Review daily, weekly, and monthly business performance and implement action plans.

Maintain accurate inventory and oversee ordering of food, paper products, and supplies.

Ensure proper cash handling, deposits and financial controls.

Monitor restaurant maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.

Lead local store marketing and community involvement initiatives.

Conduct regular manager meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.

Ensure compliance with all company policies, employment laws, and safety regulations.

Develop future leaders through succession planning and ongoing training.

Communicate effectively with District Managers and corporate leadership.

Lead new product launches, promotions, and operational initiatives.

Perform all other duties assigned by the District Manager or Director of Operations.

Minimum of 3–5 years of restaurant management experience preferred.

Previous experience leading multiple managers and large teams.

Strong knowledge of restaurant financials, including labor and food cost management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.

Ability to analyze business performance and implement improvement plans.

Experience with hiring, scheduling, inventory and cash management.

ServSafe Manager Certification preferred or required within company guidelines.

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
