Essential Functions
-
Maintain effective departmental communication to support workflow and increase service labor sales

Utilize various computer systems and communication tools to support operations
-
Plan and manage work schedules
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-
Maintain personal and departmental tool inventory
-
Complete service data and documentation on invoices
-
Open and close work orders promptly to minimize aged work-in-process
-
Perform basic diagnostics and determine required repairs
-
Advise customers on replacement parts and service needs
-
Repair and replace damaged or worn components
-
Test equipment after repair to ensure proper performance and compliance
-
Prepare reports and documentation related to work orders and failure analysis
-
Process warranty claims and documentation
-
Maintain service vehicles, shop tools, and equipment
-
Adhere to flat-rate pricing guidelines and utilize service time standards for quoting
-
Maintain current knowledge of products and competitor offerings
-
Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
-
Maintain quality control records and job status reports
-
Manage work order logs and assist with invoicing issues
-
Interpret financial operating statements
-
Conduct annual performance reviews for service technicians
-
Determine labor needs and allocate resources בהתאם to workload

Assist engineering and factory teams with diagnostics

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong knowledge of heavy equipment repair methods, tools, and materials

Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions

Proficiency in operating diagnostic tools and equipment

Strong customer service orientation

Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications

Basic knowledge of office equipment (copier, fax, printer)

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required

Associate degree or technical certification preferred
