Responsibilities
- Assist servers and work as a team to ensure a smooth guest experience while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Will be learning all FOH support roles (Hosting, Bussing, Expediting, Food Running, etc)
- Operate POS systems such as Toast and OpenTable to process orders and payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring proper sanitation throughout the restaurant
- Manage food handling responsibilities safely and efficiently, adhering to dietary guidelines and food safety protocols
- Provide friendly guest relations by addressing questions, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Toast and OpenTable is a plus
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette for guest interactions
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Valid Food Handler's card and RBS card preferred
- Enthusiastic TEAM PLAYER with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences (very important)
