Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and emails from policyholders with questions about coverage, claims, payments, and policy changes
- Process policy updates, endorsements (e.g., adding drivers/vehicles), renewals, and cancellations accurately
- Verify coverage details, explain deductibles/endorsements and other terms clearly to clients, and guide them through claims filing
- Handle callers professionally
- Use agency management software (e.g., AMS360, Applied, or similar) to update records and pull quotes
- Provide excellent service to keep clients happy and support our agents
- Assist with light administrative tasks like filing, scanning, and following up on renewals
Requirements:
Required:
- 1+ years of customer service experience (insurance preferred but not mandatory—we can train the right person)
- Strong phone and communication skills—bilingual English/Spanish a big plus!
- Detail-oriented with good multitasking ability
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in-office Monday-Friday
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Texas Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to get one)
- Experience in insurance, claims handling, or agency software
- Previous office/admin role
