Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas including food prep stations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring a tidy environment for both guests and staff
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential
