SALARY RANGE $140,000 - $200,000/year
DUTIES As a successful candidate for the System Administrator II role, you will design and support system architecture while developing and implementing ServiceNow-based solutions that align with organizational needs. You will operate within a hybrid cloud environment, maintaining and troubleshooting self-hosted ServiceNow implementations, developing custom workflows, and supporting system integrations and automation. You will collaborate with a highly skilled technical team, contribute to process improvements, and ensure system performance, compliance, and reliability while supporting continuous learning and operational excellence.

Hands-on experience administering and developing within ServiceNow environments
Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain self-hosted ServiceNow platforms
Experience creating custom workflows, service requests, and automation solutions
Proficiency in scripting and development using JavaScript or other high-level programming languages
Familiarity with web technologies, including HTML, XML, and CSS
Experience implementing integrations and automation using ServiceNow Orchestration
Ability to monitor system health, usage, and compliance metrics
Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux/UNIX environments
Ability to develop scripts to automate routine operational tasks
Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation
Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior team members
QUALIFICATIONS Ten (10) years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required. A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Additional Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer
Demonstrated experience supporting and maintaining enterprise ServiceNow implementations
Ability to perform system, integration, and Section 508 compliance testing
Experience assessing system usage and recommending enhancements for efficiency
CERTIFICATIONS Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, CCNA)

Experience managing a self-hosted ServiceNow instance, including upgrades to core applications
Java development experience
Experience reviewing processes and implementing efficiency improvements
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer)
