We're currently seeking a retail sales associate to promote our products, welcome customers, guide them through the products, answer questions, and make sure guests have a pleasant experience through excellent customer service to join our team at The Vape Escape in Ruston, LA. An ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who is punctual, knowledgeable, reliable, and has a knack for building relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers
- Assist customers in finding and selecting products
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Conduct product demos and explain features and benefits
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis
Requirements:
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Technical sales experience or knowledge of technology products is desirable
- Multilingual abilities are an advantage
