Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards, including operating kitchen equipment and handling food safely.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
- Manage customer interactions with excellent service skills, addressing questions, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Operate cash registers smoothly, process cash and card payments, and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
- Support food safety management practices by following sanitation protocols and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior restaurant experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
