Hiring: Hotpot Servers Location: Omaha, NE 68144
About the Job We are a busy Hotpot restaurant looking for energetic servers to join the team. Hotpot is different from standard serving—it’s interactive. You’ll be managing tables where guests are cooking their own food, which means safety and communication are huge here.
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Menu walkthroughs: A lot of guests are new to hotpot. You need to clearly explain the broths, meats, and cooking times so they don’t feel lost.
- Table maintenance: It gets messy. You’ll need to clear empty plates fast, monitor soup levels, and adjust burner heat regularly.
- Running food: Speed matters. Thin-sliced meats need to get to the table while they are fresh.
- Teamwork: We run a tight ship. You’ll be working closely with the kitchen and other servers to keep the dining room moving.
Requirements:
- Must be 19+ (Required).
- Communication: You need to be comfortable talking to people, not just taking an order and walking away.
- Pace: This is a fast environment. You need to be able to multitask without getting stressed.
- Experience: Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but if you learn fast and have common sense, we can train you.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
