Job Overview
We are seeking to add a couple of knowledgeable leaders to our crew. Those with a strong understanding of the tools and equipment they wield to complete projects within a timely manner. These crew members follow direction and implement policies and procedures based on the highest level of company standards. Our Foreman are looked to for their ability to guide others, keep time budgets in mind, and maintain quality across the board.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing.
- Assist with landscape installation projects such as mulching, planting, and sod installation.
- Safely operate a variety of power equipment and hand tools (zero-turn mowers, line trimmers, etc.).
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure every property meets company standards.
- Keep job sites clean and organized, removing debris and waste.
- Lawn Maintenance: Perform professional mowing, string trimming (weed whacking), edging, and blowing of clippings off walkways and driveways.
- Landscape Care: Pull weeds, spread mulch, lay pine straw, and maintain clean flower beds.
- Pruning & Trimming: Trim small trees, hedges, and shrubs neatly and safely.
- Property Cleanups: Assist with spring and fall cleanups, including leaf removal, raking, and property debris clearing.
- Plant Installation: Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, bushes, trees, and laying new sod.
- Equipment Safety: Safely operate and maintain commercial equipment (zero-turn mowers, push mowers, blowers, and trimmers) and report any maintenance needs.
- Teamwork & Driving: Cooperate with the crew leader, load/unload trucks daily, and optionally drive the company truck and trailer to job sites.
- These may not be the only tasks that are asked, we are a 360 property care company, other jobs may be assigned such as pressure washing, Deck staining, grading, outdoor enhancements, and more.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience required
- License: Must have a clean driver’s license and reliable transportation to the shop.
- Stamina: Must be able to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.) and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Soft Skills: Strong time management, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility: Willingness to tackle any project and adapt to changing daily tasks.
