About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and people‑focused Area Director to oversee three unique restaurant concepts operating under one roof in Pittsburgh’s vibrant Strip District. This leader will guide the management teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure each concept delivers exceptional hospitality, financial performance, and brand consistency.
This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑unit environment and understands how to balance creativity, structure, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations across all three restaurant concepts, ensuring seamless coordination between FOH and BOH.
- Maintain brand standards, service quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction across all units.
- Implement systems, processes, and SOPs that support consistency and operational efficiency.
People & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the General Managers and department leaders for each concept.
- Build a strong culture of accountability, communication, and hospitality.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for all management‑level roles.
Financial Management
- Own the financial performance of all concepts, including P&L oversight, labor management, COGS, and budgeting.
- Analyze weekly and monthly financial reports to identify opportunities and drive profitability.
- Ensure compliance with inventory controls, purchasing standards, and cost‑saving initiatives.
Guest Experience & Brand Execution
- Ensure each concept delivers a consistent, memorable guest experience aligned with its unique identity.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to elevate service and hospitality.
- Partner with culinary and beverage teams to support menu execution and innovation.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all restaurants meet or exceed health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, HR practices, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi‑unit leadership experience in full‑service or multi‑concept restaurant operations.
- Proven success managing multiple managers and large teams.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L responsibility.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on operational support.
- Experience in high‑volume, scratch‑kitchen, or concept‑driven environments preferred.
- Must be highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
