Perform quantity take-offs for concrete, rebar, formwork, and other materials.

Develop detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages.

Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.

Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and clients to clarify project requirements.

Create job cards and import plans to Leica total stations
-
Prepare change order pricing and assist with project budgets.
-
Maintain current knowledge of material costs, labor rates, equipment, and industry trends.

Track awarded projects and provide feedback on actual vs. estimated costs for continuous improvement.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Promote Cru Concrete. Inc. at builder and industry functions

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of concrete field experience, 1 year of estimating experience (concrete construction preferred) or a combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of concrete methods, materials, and processes (foundations, flatwork, finishing, decorative, etc.).

Proficiency with estimating software, CAD, Microsoft Excel, and reading blueprints/plans preferred
-
Previous customer service experience and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
