We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant – Patient Services to join our team at our Wilmington, DE (Augustine Cutoff) location.

What You'll Do:
As a Medical Office Assistant – Patient Services, you will work closely with clinicians, physician offices, insurance companies, and fellow team members to ensure our patients receive timely, high-quality care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, referral sources, and healthcare providers.
- Prepare, review, and process patient work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information within company systems.
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain required pre-authorizations.
- Gather and submit required documentation for insurance reimbursement.
- Coordinate with clinicians and physician offices to ensure timely patient care.
- Learn and navigate company software, phone systems, and electronic medical records.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous medical office or customer service experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, insurance verification, or medical coding is a plus.
