Full time position. We are looking for someone needing to work Monday to Friday. 4 hours of the day will be in the lab and the next hours will be janitorial. We need a reliable person that is detail oriented and can multi-task. We are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, able to recognize errors and defects that may not be immediately apparent. The job duties include but are not limited to:
-Keeping the office clean, including the machinery in the lab
-Keeping inventory
-Pulling lenses from our stock to be cut
-Edging lenses and mounting into the frames.
-Small repairs such as screw replacements
-Checking in/ out jobs coming from outside labs and from our own lab
With time and as the person gains experience, some duties may be added. The right candidate must be able to stand and have good communication skills with their supervisor and other staff members. Spanish is not required but a plus for growth within the company.
