PAY RANGE: $10-$13 (Based on experience)
ABOUT THIS POSITION
Fusion Tea is looking for a Full-Time Bobarista who wants to become a strong part of our team and has the opportunity to grow with us.
This is a hands-on position. You’ll make drinks, work the register, help customers find their new favorite drink, keep the shop stocked and clean, and work alongside the rest of the team to keep things moving during busy shifts.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait around to be told what needs to happen. You notice when the ice is getting low, cups need stocked, a teammate needs help, or the bar needs cleaned, and you jump in.
This position also has growth potential based on performance. Bobaristas who consistently show reliability, initiative, strong drink knowledge, great customer service, and the ability to work well with the team may be considered for future Shift Lead opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Bar & Drink Preparation
Bobaristas are expected to become confident working both the bar and register.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare drinks accurately and efficiently following Fusion Tea recipes
- Measure powders, syrups, bases, toppings, and other ingredients correctly
- Maintain proper sweetness levels and topping portions
- Prepare milk teas, fruit teas, slushes, ice blended drinks, lemonades, Red Bull Infusions, café drinks, specialty drinks, and other menu items
- Use shakers, blenders, sealers, fructose machines, and other equipment properly
- Check drinks for accuracy before serving them
- Follow recipes instead of guessing or changing preparation methods
- Maintain consistency so customers receive the same drink quality each visit
Register & Customer Service
- Greet customers when they enter the shop
- Take orders accurately using the POS system
- Repeat orders back when needed to confirm accuracy
- Help customers understand the different drink categories
- Ask questions about flavor preferences to help customers choose drinks
- Recommend drinks, flavors, and toppings
- Explain sweetness levels and topping options
- Process payments correctly
- Assist customers with the Fusion Tea Rewards Program
- Seal, finish, and hand out drinks when helping the bar
- Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful way
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate with teammates during shifts
- Help bar or register when another station gets busy
- Wash dishes or restock supplies when it helps keep orders moving
- Complete assigned opening, midshift, and closing responsibilities
- Ask questions when you are unsure about a recipe or procedure
- Accept coaching and feedback from Shift Leads and management
- Treat coworkers respectfully
- Help create a positive, fun work environment
Team members interested in future advancement should consistently demonstrate initiative, reliability, communication, strong job knowledge, and the ability to work well with others.
Customer Experience
- Create a friendly and welcoming experience for every customer
- Help customers discover drinks based on flavors they already enjoy
- Be patient with customers who are new to bubble tea
- Keep customer-facing areas clean and inviting
- Handle basic customer questions and ask a Shift Lead or manager for assistance when needed
- Maintain the fun and friendly Fusion Tea atmosphere
Stocking & Product Preparation
Every Bobarista helps keep the shop stocked throughout the day.
Responsibilities include:
- Check cups, lids, straws, powders, syrups, toppings, boba, and other supplies
- Keep the ice bin and backup ice stocked
- Monitor tea, lemonade, boba, and other prepared ingredients
- Refill containers before they are completely empty
- Maintain working products and backups as directed
- Restock refrigerators, bar areas, and customer supplies
- Tell a Shift Lead or manager when inventory is getting low
- Keep storage and preparation areas organized
Store Cleanliness & Health Standards
Keeping Fusion Tea clean is part of every Bobarista’s job.
Responsibilities include:
- Keep bar, register, prep, and customer areas clean
- Wipe counters, equipment, syrup areas, powders, and other work surfaces
- Wash dishes using the proper wash, rinse, and sanitize process
- Maintain towel buckets and cleaning supplies according to store procedures
- Sweep and mop assigned areas
- Clean customer seating areas and bathrooms when assigned
- Take out trash
- Follow food safety and health department procedures
- Keep hair properly secured and follow Fusion Tea grooming requirements
- Keep drinks covered as required
- Follow proper handwashing and sanitation procedures
GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
This position can be a starting point for someone who wants to grow within Fusion Tea.
Promotion is not automatic or guaranteed. Bobaristas may be considered for future Shift Lead opportunities based on their performance, reliability, business needs, and demonstrated ability to take on additional responsibility.

By the end of your first 90 days, a successful Full-Time Bobarista should:

Make Consistent Drinks
- Follow Fusion Tea recipes correctly
- Measure ingredients and toppings accurately
- Use equipment properly
- Catch basic mistakes before drinks go out
Work Both Bar & Register
- Take orders accurately
- Make drinks efficiently
- Move between positions when needed
- Help keep orders flowing during busy periods
Stay Ahead of Your Station
- Notice when cups, lids, ice, syrups, powders, or toppings are getting low
- Restock before supplies run out
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Complete opening, midshift, or closing responsibilities
