Duke's Docks, LLC is a growing waterfront construction company based in Mineral, VA specializing in dock construction, boathouses, seawalls, and shoreline work on Lake Anna and surrounding lakes. We are looking for a dependable, experienced Working Foreman to join our team full time.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be running a small crew, managing daily job site operations, and working directly with the owner on active projects. We do quality work and we take pride in it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
— Lead and manage a small crew on active job sites
— Perform general carpentry and construction work
— Set daily and weekly goals for the crew and hold them accountable to results
— Plan and coordinate material orders to keep jobs on schedule
— Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
— Communicate effectively with the owner and customers
— Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site
— Identify and solve problems on site before they become delays
REQUIREMENTS
— Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required
— General carpentry experience required
— Prior crew management or leadership experience required
— Organized, dependable, and able to plan ahead
— Strong communication skills
— Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
— Marine or waterfront construction experience is a plus but not required — we will train the right candidate. Leadership, work ethic, and carpentry skills are what matter most.
COMPENSATION
— $25–$35 per hour based on experience
— Full time, year round
— 3 paid days off per year with advance notice
— Performance based bonuses
