Duties
- Prepare metal parts and components for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and handling materials with precision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assist in assembly or minor repairs as needed.
- Manage materials handling tasks using forklifts to move heavy or bulky items safely within the warehouse or production area.
- Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments to verify coating thickness and finish quality.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to uphold safety standards and optimize production flow.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by following standardized procedures and suggesting process improvements.
Qualifications
- Previous shop, warehouse, manufacturing, or labor experience preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, and other warehouse machinery safely; forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and work with metal parts throughout the shift.
