Overview
Hyundai of Escondido is looking for an experienced Automotive Finance Associate to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive background in financial services and dealership operations to assist customers in securing optimal auto loans and financing options. Your proactive approach and negotiation skills will ensure a seamless experience for clients while supporting the dealership’s sales goals. Duties
- Guide customers through the loan application process, ensuring compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations and dealership policies
- Analyze credit reports and financial documents to determine loan eligibility and appropriate financing terms
- Develop strong customer relationships by understanding their needs, upselling suitable financial products, and providing exceptional service throughout the sales journey
- Negotiate loan terms, interest rates, and contracts to secure favorable deals for both the customer and the dealership
- Process title work, contract documentation, and loan paperwork accurately using financial software and title processing systems
- Conduct credit analysis to assess risk and ensure responsible lending practices
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling additional financial services or extended warranties
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar financial services role within a dealership environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes, credit analysis, and contract negotiations
- Familiarity with TILA regulations, title processing, and loan processing procedures
- Excellent customer relationship management skills combined with outstanding communication abilities
- Proficiency in financial software applications, 10-key typing skills, and basic math for accurate calculations
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency
- Dealership experience required
