This is an excellent opportunity for a CSW looking to gain clinical experience while receiving quality supervision at no cost.
Position Summary
As a School-Based Therapist, you will provide individual and family therapy services within local schools, collaborating with educators, families, and community partners to improve student mental health and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and crisis counseling to children and adolescents
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, physicians, and community providers
- Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with the Kentucky Board of Social Work
Qualifications
Required:
- Certified Social Worker (CSW) licensed in Kentucky
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks
Preferred:
- Experience working with children or adolescents
- School-based or community mental health experience
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, and solution-focused therapy
