Duties
- This job will involve a variety of tasks; from rooming patients, taking medical histories, answering phones and scheduling appointments. Experience with insurance prior authorizations and precertifications for procedures is a must.
- Maintain detailed documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical terminology and ICD coding standards
- Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication instructions, and follow-up care instructions
- Proven experience as a Care Coordinator in outpatient clinical settings.
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical settings
- Strong communication skills to provide excellent patient service and collaborate effectively with healthcare team
