Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws
- Load, secure, transport, and unload client belongings using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and organizing items during moves to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients throughout the moving process
- Adhere to safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items, including heavy lifting and manual transmission operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices and ensure all documentation is completed correctly
- Load and unload items efficiently while following proper weight handling procedures to prevent workplace injuries
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or moving services with a focus on manual handling and safe lifting practices (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks;
- Experience with delivery driver roles involving route driving, load & unload tasks, and adhering to traffic regulations
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace
- Physical ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while maintaining safety standards; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments requiring manual handling, heavy lifting, and warehouse operations

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
