Position: Admissions Coordinator
Location: Outpatient Building in OKC
Hourly: $22.59
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate intake processes for new clients
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records of client data
- Enter data in EHR for Admission to programs
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and external partners
- Conduct residential screenings to determine client needs
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth intake procedures
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Follow up on denials and complete the appeals process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail-oriented approach to administrative tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with electronic health records or similar database systems
- Knowledge of confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
- Possess and maintain BHCMII certification.
