At UPLVL PR Agency, the Talent Partnerships Manager is the dealmaker and door-opener in the room. You'll manage the full range of partnership opportunities for our credentialed expert PR clients — from paid brand deals and gifting, to exclusive event invitations, speaking stages, panels, and strategic advisory relationships. You're equally comfortable negotiating a paid sponsorship as you are getting a client on the guest list for a brand activation or booked as a keynote speaker.
This role is built for someone who can operate across the full partnerships landscape — not just brand deals, and not just PR-adjacent event access, but both. If you have relationships on both sides — inside brand marketing/sponsorship teams and inside the event, publicist, and speaker-bureau world — this is your role.
About UPLVL PR Agency
UPLVL Agency is a boutique, women-led public relations firm working exclusively with purpose-driven founders and credentialed experts in health, wellness, lifestyle — doctors, therapists, lawyers, and mission-driven entrepreneurs who are changing lives and need media exposure to make a bigger impact. We are fully remote and proudly an all-female team.
Founded by Kayley Hamilton, a two-time Emmy Award–winning journalist and former entertainment news reporter, UPLVL operates with newsroom standards: strong judgment, fast execution, clear communication, and accountability for results. We've been featured in Forbes and Business Insider.
Our mission is to help high-integrity, purpose-driven founders make a big, beautiful, positive impact on the world by getting them in front of the audiences who need them most. We do that work guided by our values.
- Inspirational — we chase extraordinary results that elevate our clients and create a ripple effect of positive impact.
- Disciplined — we do what we say we'll do, every time.
- Accountable — we hold ourselves and our clients to our shared goals.
- Transparent — open, honest, clear communication at every level.
- Aligned — intentional about who joins our team and which clients we serve.
- Results-Oriented — every action is designed to move the needle.
- Intentional — purpose and precision behind every decision.
- Professional Integrity — the highest ethical standard, always.
If those values genuinely excite you, you'll fit right in.
The Role
This is an individual-contributor position with full account ownership. You'll manage talent partnership campaigns for 1-3 clients end-to-end, and those clients will have different needs — some are large-following creators seeking paid brand deals, others are credentialed experts with smaller followings seeking gifting, exclusive event access, and speaking placements. You'll need to read each client's profile and goals and build the right strategy for their specific situation.
This starts as part-time and contract, with a path to full-time as the division grows.
What You'll Do
Brand Deals & Partnerships
- Pitch clients proactively to brands for paid sponsorships, content collaborations, and affiliate/ambassador arrangements
- Negotiate deal terms: rate, deliverables, exclusivity windows, and long-term upside (including advisory or board-level relationships where relevant)
Events, Speaking & Access
- Secure gifting opportunities, product seeding, and brand activation invitations for clients without large followings but strong credentialed authority
- Get clients booked on stages, panels, and at exclusive industry events (e.g., Fashion Week, brand activations, industry conferences)
- Maintain and grow relationships with event producers, brand activation/experiential teams, publicists, and panel/speaker-bureau curators
Across All Clients
- Lead onboarding conversations to understand each client's goals, audience size, and what "success" looks like for their specific profile
- Coordinate the full pipeline: outreach, follow-up, contract coordination, deal prep, and execution oversight
- Collaborate with PR Account Managers so partnerships and press reinforce each other
- Deliver monthly progress reports and present them to clients via video call
Who You Are
- 4-6+ years of experience spanning both talent/brand partnerships and PR-adjacent event or speaker relations — with concrete examples of deals closed and events/speaking placements secured
- You have existing relationships on both sides: inside brand marketing/sponsorship teams, and inside event production, publicist, or speaker-bureau circles — especially in wellness, health, lifestyle, or entrepreneurship
- You're a skilled negotiator who understands deal structures, rate cards, exclusivity clauses, equity conversations, and how brands think about risk and ROI
- You understand the difference between representing a creator and representing a credentialed expert — you know how to price and pitch doctors, therapists, lawyers, and advisors whose value goes beyond audience size
- You're deeply curious about your clients. You listen carefully, ask a lot of questions, and can articulate their value better than they can themselves
- You're bold, personable, and persistent — you make the big ask, follow up gracefully, and don't confuse politeness with passivity
- You're organized, responsive, and consistent — clients and brand/event contacts trust you because you follow through
- You're personally passionate about health, wellness, and lifestyle — you know the brands, the events, the founders, and the trends from the inside
- Daily use of AI tools (Claude or similar) is a genuine plus
- Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, and Canva is a bonus
