Laborers needed for Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Subcontractor for a variety of installation projects including structural framing, handrails, stairs, and ornamental metal.
Job Duties
- Assist welders and ironworkers in the day to day operations at various construction job sites
- Cleans work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and identify and correct potentially hazardous conditions
- Fire Watch
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Works as a team player
- Works nights or weekends if required by the work load
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor lift more than 50lbs
- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Already or willing to become trained in CPR, OSHA regulations, crane hand signals, and licensed on equipment
- Able to work as an effective member of a team and promote a positive working environment
- Energetic and motivated to get a job completed accurately and efficiently
- Must have driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.
