We are seeking a skilled General Assembly/Light Aluminum Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling components, performing light welding tasks, and ensuring the quality and precision of aluminum fabrications. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or manufacturing environments, with proficiency in various welding techniques and in reading prints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring mechanical knowledge and fabrication skills, contributing to the production of high-quality aluminum products.
Duties
- Assemble metal components according to detailed prints and schematics
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and sheet metal parts
- Use hand tools, power tools, and light fabrication equipment
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts as needed for material handling
- Conduct quality inspections to verify weld integrity and assembly accuracy in compliance with ASME codes & standards
- Assist in the assembly of finished products
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments involving assembly and welding
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for measurements
- Experience operating forklifts or cranes is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills
- Aware of cosmetic quality
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing while adhering to all safety regulations

Pay: $24.30 - $29.26 per hour
