InGenesis is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to work with our client in Albany, NY. In this role, you will be working at the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.

Job Duties:
- Assist Records Access Officer with Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) responses including collecting and reviewing responsive documents and assisting with redactions.
- Answer main FOIL telephone line, maintain FOIL mailbox (physical and email), respond to the public regarding FOIL requests.
- Track deadlines and maintain databases.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of legal terminology, business communications, and general clerical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
