We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable experience.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work and obtain their dental records
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Perform various office tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
Requirements:
- Proficiency in medical imaging and taking vital signs
- Knowledge of medical coding and Dentrix/Dexis software is a plus
- Familiarity with assisting in various dental
- Understanding of anatomy and four-handed dentistry techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.25 per hour
