We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics
- Perform engine repairs, including diesel engine repair and automotive engine system troubleshooting
- Conduct vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and electrical system checks
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical systems to identify faults accurately
- Use power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and manual handling to ensure proper vehicle servicing
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and communicate effectively with customers about repairs needed
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems
- Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Skilled in automotive diagnostics using specialized tools and software
- Experience repairing powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle electrical systems
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive engine technology, heavy lifting techniques, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Ability to interpret automotive repair manuals and schematics accurately
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Familiarity with auto mechanical repair, , alignment procedures is a plus
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely
