Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise, including features and benefits
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Manage cash registers efficiently, ensuring proper cash management and balancing at shift end
- Support customers with basic math calculations for purchases, discounts, or loan processing when applicable
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Utilize retail software systems for inventory management and sales tracking
- Assist in stock replenishment and product displays to maximize sales opportunities
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with banking or financial services can be advantageous for handling transactions involving loans or financial products
- Basic math skills including retail math, 10-key typing proficiency, and cash handling accuracy are essential
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with diverse customers
- Ability to perform cashiering duties confidently while maintaining attention to detail in cash management tasks
- Experience with financial software or point-of-sale systems enhances efficiency in daily operations

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
