Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout the event
- Serve food and beverages accurately, including wine, cocktails, coffee, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Set up banquet tables, stations, and serving areas efficiently before events begin
- Clear plates, buss tables, and assist with food handling to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Support food preparation and presentation as needed in collaboration with culinary staff
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and billing with precision
- Assist with beverage service, including pouring drinks and maintaining bar areas during events
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for transactions and portioning tasks
- Familiarity with wine knowledge, beverage service, and fine dining etiquette advantageous
- Experience working with POS systems and drink service equipment preferred
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work efficiently under pressure
