Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean workspace in compliance with health regulations
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable treatments, and provide expert advice on nail care and maintenance
- Stay current on the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and techniques to offer fresh and exciting options to clients
- Upsell additional services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage retail sales of nail products, skincare items, and accessories while demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies and equipment for smooth daily operations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in a professional salon environment
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation practices, and current beauty trends.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships
- Basic retail math skills for upselling products confidently while ensuring accurate transactions
