Essential Functions of the Position:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, components, and production supplies
- Pull parts and materials according to production schedules, work orders, and job requirements
- Deliver materials, components, and supplies to designated workstations in a timely manner
- Verify material quantities and part numbers before issuing materials to production
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage locations
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and parts
- Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged materials
- Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and minimize downtime
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks or forklifts (if certified and authorized)
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment in inventory and production areas
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures and quality standards
Other Functions and Responsibilities of the Position:
- Reports unsafe conditions and unsafe equipment.
- Ensure proper daily completion of time sheet of all work assigned and performed.
- Ensure proper handling of all parts, units, assemblies and equipment while in process
- Ensure that all documentation is properly filled out and recorded.
- Responsible and accountable for all work performed.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.

Physical Demands: Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, ladders, and driving a motor vehicle. May be required to lift material weighing up to 50 pounds. Must possess sight and/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
Working Environment: The working environment is an indoor production shop-level environment which may involve loud noises, debris, and temperature fluctuations. The employee may work in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, noxious odors, toxic or caustic chemicals, or extreme heat and/or cold. Employees may be required to work in confined spaces, on elevated platforms, or over and under machinery and large production materials, under time and/or production constraints and requirements. Employees may be required to wear eye, ear, and lung protection while performing duties or while on the job floor.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
