Experienced NY Style Pizza Maker/Kitchen Team Member Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook hand-tossed, New York-style pizzas according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Hand stretch dough, apply sauces, and toppings in consistent proportions.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, dough mixers, and prep tools.
- Ensure the timely production of pizza orders while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Monitor inventory and food supplies, restocking as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in other kitchen duties such as preparing ingredients, cleaning, and helping with customer orders.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests or delivery personnel.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in pizza making, especially hand-tossed New York-style, is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
