About the Position
We are looking for a Marketing & Public Relations to lead and coordinate our marketing, outreach, and public relations efforts. This role will oversee multiple teams and ensure our digital marketing, events, and community engagement strategies work together to grow our impact.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys both strategy and collaboration, and who is passionate about community-based work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an overall marketing and public relations strategies
- Oversee and align multiple teams, including: Digital Marketing Team, Direct Marketing & Events team, Spanish & Polish Public Relations teams
- Ensure all marketing, outreach, and PR efforts are coordinated and aligned across departments
- Work closely with team leads to plan and execute marketing campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives including website management, social media, SEO, paid advertising, video content, and online campaigns
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels and materials
- Support the planning and promotion of community events, outreach initiatives, and partnerships
- Strengthen relationships with community organizations, chambers of commerce, senior centers, and local leaders
- Identify opportunities for media exposure, partnerships, and community visibility
- Oversee the development and production of print materials, marketing collateral, and promotional assets
- Review and approve marketing content including graphics, videos, social media posts, and campaigns
- Monitor marketing performance and analyze campaign results to improve effectiveness
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure resources are used efficiently
- Coordinate internal communication to ensure teams are working toward shared goals
- Work with organization’s upper management to identify new opportunities for growth, partnerships, and brand awareness
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
- Experience managing or coordinating teams
- Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Experience working with diverse communities is a strong plus
About the Role

- Reports directly to the President of AUAF
- Leadership role overseeing multiple marketing and outreach teams
- Opportunity to help expand services for seniors across Chicagoland and Arizona
Preferred Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Marketing or related field
- College degree in Marketing or related field
- Experience with SEO and SEM strategy and keyword research
- Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
