Consejo Counseling and Referral Service is looking to hire a full-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) at our Renton location.

The Advanced Practice Provider plays a key role delivering comprehensive Health & Wellness medical services to patients. This role is integral to providing high-quality, patient-centered medical care, with a focus on preventive health, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment. The Advanced Practice Provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, actively contribute to the enhancement of patient care processes, and uphold the values and goals of the Health & Wellness care program. Deliver Comprehensive Care: Provide medical services within the full scope of the Health & Wellness care program, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices.

Conduct Thorough Patient Assessments: Review medical histories, reports, and test results to determine accurate diagnoses and recommend appropriate treatment plans.

Promote Preventive Health: Guide patients on nutrition, lifestyle choices, and preventive strategies to support overall health and reduce disease risk.

Perform Approved Procedures: Carry out medical care procedures within the provider’s scope of competency and privileges.

Coordinate Specialized Care: Refer patients to specialists for consultation and advances care services required.

Support Outreach Initiatives: Engage in community outreach efforts as directed to increase healthcare and awareness.

Ensure Continuity of Care for AfterHours Inquiries: Follow up on afterhours call center to provide timely support, address outstanding needs, and ensure continuity of care. This includes reviewing any urgent concerns communicated after hours and coordinating necessary followup actions to maintain seamless patient care.

Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR): Maintain familiarity with EHR systems, such as Athena, to document patient information accurately and securely.

Monitor and Lead Care Delivery: Oversee and support relevant healthcare providers to ensure high standards in patient care delivery.

Engage in Daily Operations: Actively participate in daily huddles to enhance clinic operations and optimize patient service.

Additional Duties: Perform other related responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the ongoing improvement of patient outcomes and clinic effectiveness.

Active ARNP or PAC License in Washington State (required)

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT preferred)

Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing both English and Spanish.

This full-time in-person therapy position operates on a standard 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday.
SALARY Based on Experience, Licenses, and Education.
$90,000 - $100,000 per year.

In 1978, Consejo was born out of a visionary work-study project directed by Dr. Gilberto Lucero, a professor at the UW School of Social Work, in which two latino master level students participated. They identified a critical need for behavioral health services within the Latino community in Seattle, Washington. At that time, there were no Latino-based behavioral health care organizations in WA State. Consejo became a pioneer in establishing the first bilingual and bicultural care organization dedicated to serve the Spanish speaking monolingual community. The mission was to improve mental health care access and break down cultural stigmas.
