Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of our exceptional dining experience! if you are interested, please stop by the restaurant between 12:00pm to 4:00 pm any day from Friday through Monday to complete an application and have a brief interview.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while ensuring guest preferences are prioritized
- Manage table turnovers efficiently by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience with a focus on fine dining or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering tasks
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours including nights and weekends
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest interaction
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Experience in roles such as host/hostess or busser is advantageous for guest relations and supporting team operations
