Position Description:
- Review business and functional requirements and process flows to ensure complete UAT coverage of end-to-end business workflows.
Analyze business requirements and develop testing related documentation.
- Develop Automated and/or Manual Tests based on Project Requirements and Test Scenarios.
- Verify testing platforms, including creating and maintaining data in UAT environment.
- Run Test Cases in Open Text Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Unified Functional Testing (UFT), UFT Developer, Call Master, Empirix or other automation tools for projects where applicable.
- Identify, document, and track UAT defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in defect triage and review meetings to help prioritize issues based on business impact.
- Perform retesting and UAT regression testing to confirm fixes and ensure existing functionality is not impacted.
- Participate in project meetings and provide feedback on system usability, functionality, and business alignment.
- Support UAT sign-off and release readiness by verifying that all acceptance criteria have been met. Follow established UAT processes and recommend improvements where appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
* Experience in test automation in a UNIX environment
* Familiar with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases
* Knowledge of Scripting languages, such as PERL, TCL, Groovy
* Excellent interpersonal and interview skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to make presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education Required: B.S. in Technology related field * Certification as CSQA or equivalent, preferred
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
