Note:
Applicants must be licensed and in good standing with either the Colorado Bar (for Denver) or the Texas Bar (for Houston) and have at least 2 years of litigation experience. Experience handling first-party property damage or insurance litigation is highly preferred but not required.

Job Description
- Manage first-party property damage litigation matters from intake through resolution.
- Represent homeowners in insurance coverage and bad faith disputes.
- Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions of insureds, adjusters, experts, and corporate representatives.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration.
- Represent clients at hearings, court appearances, and trial as needed.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case strategy and progress.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to deliver outstanding client service.
- Stay current on developments in applicable state insurance law and first-party property litigation.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active Colorado Bar license (Denver) or Texas Bar license (Houston) in good standing.
- 2+ years of litigation experience.
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- First-party property damage or insurance litigation experience preferred.
