This is Not just for a welder other task will be required more often then welding.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of boiler systems
- Install, assemble, and repair boilers, tanks, vats, and other large vessel
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and soldering to connect pipes and fittings
Must have experience in pipe threading, fitting threaded pipe, pro press, copper fitting.
- Conduct pressure tests on boilers to ensure they meet safety standards
- Inspect and maintain boiler systems for optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with boilers and related equipment
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role
- Proficient in pipe threading, welding, and soldering techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of boiler systems
- Familiarity with power tools used in the trade
- Experience with fire sprinkler fitting and HVAC systems is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Skilled in tube bending and basic math calculations for measurements
6G weld test will be required for code welders On 2" XXH A106B.
