Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager - Restaurant to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, staff development, and performance management
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and safety are maintained in compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory control, food safety procedures, and food handling practices to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Utilize POS systems order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Supervise kitchen operations including food production, catering services, and bar experience to deliver quality offerings
- Conduct hiring interviews, staff onboarding, and ongoing training to build a skilled hospitality team
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with a strong background in food industry operations
- Demonstrated supervising experience with team leadership responsibilities in hospitality or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary experience, and food safety management practices
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong skills in inventory control, and budgeting,
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork
- Experience in managing hospitality teams within hotel or banquet settings is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform shift management efficiently
- Background in catering or bar experience is advantageous but not required
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
