Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to sanitation standards.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices within the hospitality sector is beneficial.
