Job Summary
Support pharmacy operations and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role includes managing transactions, assisting with medication processes, and providing clerical support to pharmacy staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Make patient care phone calls
- Greet patients and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Answer questions regarding medication logistics, insurance, and pharmacy policies
- Support prescription processing in compliance with protocols
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and medication pickups
- Ensure compliance with Facility and LTC procedures
- Fill and prepare medications and other healthcare products for patients
- Type and process prescriptions using PioneerRx preferable
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Deliver medications to patients/facilities (company vehicle provided)
Qualifications
- Experience in LTC Pharmacy preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) (Not required, but preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician (salary based on experience and skills)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Clean driving history
- Valid Drivers license
- Pharmacy Technician license
Additional Job Details
- Pay Rate: $16-$19, depending on experience
- Pharmacy Operational Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
- 20-40 hours per week
- No Insurance benefits at this time
- Background check required
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
