Mid-level experience and expertise congruent with position requirements. Work assignments range from QA, facility engineering, requirements gathering, writing statements of work (technical writing), managing projects, document control, and managing A/E design services.
Responsibilities may include coordinating tenant requirements, preparing contract documents to include finalizing scopes of work and applicable plans and specifications (technical writing), design review, construction oversight, submittals and deliverables processing, document management, management of Integrated Product Teams, change orders, exposure, bonding, claims mitigation, or negotiation, and ensuring the D/B contractor implements an effective QC. Provides a broad array of construction management services to include centralized oversight of major in- house and outsourced technical efforts, and centralized multi- disciplinary technical assistance encompassing requirements gathering, design coordination, and project management.
The position is responsible for the day-to-day management of a project team, project site, and D/B contractor personnel and ensures all activities related to projects are executed according to WHS, customer, DoD and related outside agency requirements and regulations. Assists in claims resolution. When specific disciplines are sought such as mechanical, electrical, civil, structural or architecture, they will be specified in the task order requirement position description
Position Requirements:
BS degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management. Professional registration preferred.
7 years of related construction work experience.
