Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is passionate about preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
Our menu features American favorites including handcrafted burgers, fresh salads, flavorful pasta dishes, appetizers, and house-made desserts. The Line Cook plays a key role in delivering a consistently outstanding dining experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Cook burgers, pasta dishes, salads, appetizers, and desserts with consistency and attention to detail.
- Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner during busy service periods.
- Maintain proper food temperatures and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Label, date, rotate, and properly store food products using FIFO procedures.
- Assist with prep work, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing sauces.
- Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
- Communicate effectively with fellow kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and putting away inventory when needed.
- Help with closing kitchen duties.
- Follow all company policies, health regulations, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
- Knowledge of grill, sauté, fryer, and salad station operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Food Handler Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
