Job Summary

Duties
- Safely load and unload items using appropriate manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies
- Pack, wrap, and secure items to prevent damage during transit, adhering to safe lifting practices
- Assist with moving furniture, boxes, and equipment in residential or commercial settings, ensuring proper handling and placement
- Operate box trucks or courier vehicles responsibly, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and weight distribution
- Use mobile devices to document deliveries, update route information, or communicate with team members in real-time
- Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, managing inventory, and preparing items for delivery or storage
Skills
- Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and manual handling techniques
- Experience driving box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmissions in compliance with DOT regulations
- Strong delivery driver experience including route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and customer service skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices in accordance with workplace standards
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to operate mobile devices for route updates or documentation purposes
