We are looking for a high-level CFO who can help build institutional-grade financial systems while operating inside a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Position Overview
This is not a “corporate maintenance” CFO role.
We need a builder, operator, and strategic financial leader who can help take a rapidly scaling real estate company to the next level.
You will work directly with ownership and leadership to:
- Build financial infrastructure
- Oversee accounting and reporting
- Manage banking relationships
- Improve operational controls
- Assist with debt/equity strategy
- Lead forecasting and treasury management
- Help institutionalize the company
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth environments and understands real estate deeply.
ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership
- Lead all company financial operations
- Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting
- Produce monthly financial packages
- Build institutional-quality reporting systems
- Create dashboards and KPI tracking
- Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury operations
Real Estate Finance
- Oversee acquisition underwriting and deal analysis
- Assist with refinancing and loan structuring
- Work with banks, private lenders, and investors
- Analyze portfolio performance and asset-level profitability
- Review debt schedules and capital stack structures
Operations & Systems
- Improve internal controls and accountability
- Create scalable SOPs for finance/accounting
- Oversee AP/AR systems and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate rent-to-bank reconciliations
- Help integrate systems across departments
Strategic Growth
- Support fundraising efforts and investor reporting
- Help structure joint ventures and partnerships
- Assist ownership with strategic decision-making
- Participate in acquisitions and expansion planning
QualificationsRequired
- 7+ years of finance/accounting experience
- Strong real estate finance experience
- Experience with multifamily and/or commercial real estate
- Deep understanding of:
- Financial statements
- Cash flow management
- Debt structures
- Real estate underwriting
- Forecasting & modeling
- Experience managing accounting teams
- Strong operational mindset
- High attention to detail
Preferred
- CPA preferred but not required
- Experience with AppFolio or similar PM software
- Experience scaling entrepreneurial businesses
- Experience with private equity, development, or institutional real estate
- Experience with construction accounting is a major plus

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
