The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas in accordance with Generation Hospitality Group’s standards. This position ensures that guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean and service assigned guest rooms and suites including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, restocking amenities, and removing trash.

Maintain cleanliness in assigned public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and stairwells.

Ensure all housekeeping carts and storage areas are stocked, organized, and maintained to company standards.

Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost and found items promptly to the appropriate departments.

Follow all sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.

Handle all linen according to departmental policies, including sorting, folding, and restocking.

Comply with Generation Hospitality Group's grooming standards, policies, and procedures.

Provide professional and courteous service to guests, responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.

Adhere to time and attendance policies and maintain proper use of housekeeping checklists and room assignment sheets.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The pay range for this role is:
16 - 18 USD per hour(Provo Marriott)
