American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital position in Apple Valley, CA, requiring 1+ year of experience and active CA OT licensure.

Acute care hospital setting with 212 staffed beds

Day shift, 5x8 schedule (8:00–16:30)

13-week contract

Charting is performed using Epic (experience required)

Free parking on-site

Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state

Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)

Minimum 1 year of OT acute care experience

Current BLS certification required

Epic EMR experience required

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be eligible but should inquire about local rate differences

Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; minimal RTO is strongly preferred

Block schedule requests are accommodated at manager's discretion

Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
