Elm Manor is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team of compassionate healthcare professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN leader who is passionate about resident care, team development, and clinical excellence.
Working closely alongside the Director of Nursing, the ADON will help oversee daily clinical operations and support a strong team of nurses and nursing assistants in delivering exceptional care to our residents.
Assist in overseeing and managing nursing operations throughout the facility
Support and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance
Develop, implement, and monitor resident care plans and treatment plans
Observe, assess, and report changes in resident conditions or behaviors
Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams regarding resident care needs
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records
Educate residents and families on health maintenance, treatments, and disease prevention
Provide leadership, support, and emotional guidance to residents, families, and staff
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on quality outcomes and compassionate care
Current New York State RN license in good standing required
Previous experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred
Strong knowledge of NYS Department of Health regulations and compliance standards
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Excellent critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to excel in a fast-paced healthcare environment
CPR Certification required
Competitive salary: $95,000 – $100,000 annually
